This is my first and last posting on this site because I'm a friend of Worldtuner, I often read his words, I first met Worldtuner many years ago when he come to Japan to give a talk, most of the audience were in uproar over this foreigner telling us how to live our life and what we should and shouldn't eat, has I sat there something inside of me made me jump up and shout out loud: Hey give this guy a chance he's come a long way to educate us besides he's bothered to speak our language, after the talk the people applaud him and I met him for tea, we become great friends and I even went on the Mekong river pollution campaign in Laos with him, a great man who always put others first, what he does in life is for the good of all, not himself, yes he is quite outspoken but there is a reason for this, far too many people keep quiet and let others walk over them. You all have lost your freedom of speech and I heard that those that support him have been threaten with barring also, doesn't that sound like China? In Japan we have a saying if you can count your friends on one hand you are a luck person, it was good to see that Worldtuner had some support from internet friends and I thank you all for that, the problem may lie with the site managers, for has I understand it they vet the postings before they are published, therefore the guys knew that this posting for a gay meet would lead to outcries from the natural good on the site so our fingers should point to them. So as an artist I've sorted some words for Worldtuner and the managers of this site: From morning to night I stayed out of sight Didn't recognise I'd become, No more than alive I'd barely survive, In a word overrun , Won't hear a sound from my mouth I've spent too long on the inside out, My skin is cold to the human touch, This bleeding heart not bleating much, I murmured a vow of silence and now I don't even hear when I think out aloud, extinguished by light I turn on the night wear it's darkness with an empty smile, I'm creeping back to life my nervous system all awry, I'm wearing inside out. Look at him now he's paler somehow, but he's coming round, he's starting to choke it's been so long since he spoke, he can have the words right from my mouth and with these words I can see clear through the clouds that covered me, just give it time then speak my name now we can hear ourselves again. I'm holding out for the day when all the clouds have blown away, I'm with you now can speak your name now we can hear ourselves again. Don't worry site managers I'm already gone, Come back and see us more often Worldtuner. |

He expected me to extend my compassion to a cluster of cells yet he couldn't show compassion to someone who had a different way of life to him. This is not someone I respect nor want to learn from. |

So your comment "posting for a gay meet would lead to outcries from the natural good on the site" is absurd and hateful. This site is open to everyone who chooses not to eat animals and I'm glad it does not tolerate homophobia. |

As for the people on here who defend him, I despair. If a vegetarian BNP member came on here, and started with racist abuse, would that be acceptable? There is no difference, discrimination is discrimination, in what ever form. As people opposed to speciesism, I would hope that we would also be opposed to homophobia.
I am sure that he caused a lot of upset to many people with his comments. When I saw people on here defend him, this came to mind:
"In Germany, they came first for the Communists, And I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Communist;
And then they came for the trade unionists, And I didn't speak up because I wasn't a trade unionist;
And then they came for the Jews, And I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Jew;
And then... they came for me... And by that time there was no one left to speak up." |

anyway i havnt seen coach trip but all this about the wire ,ive watched it and thought it was nomore than average. |

And I would say what I put if he was still here. He is a hypocrite. I've told him that before when he was here.
If you think being insulting is "fun" then you need to take a good hard look at yourself. The site was a lot more fun than it is now waaaaaay before he joined (and you probably).
If you read the site rules, you will see we do NOT have freedom of speech. Quote:
"This forum is intended as a welcoming community for all our members to discuss, debate and receive friendly advice. All we ask is that you don't land us in hot water - no libellous, scurrilous, offensive or abusive posts" Was that really too much to ask? |
