username Your username (minimum 4 characters) is displayed at the top of your profile. It's better to create a name than use your real name.
headline Make yourself stand out from the crowd by writing an eyecatching, descriptive headline - this appears alongside your username in the search results. Here are a couple of examples:

your email address
You must supply us with a valid email address before you can contact other members and to receive messages. Your email address is kept private and NEVER passed on by us.
password You can change the password whenever you like (minimum 4 characters) - just type in your new password and then click the Update button.
gender + age Select your gender and age from the drop down list
postcode/zipcodeThis drives the location searching software

journal If you have a blog/journal you can link it to your profile so that other members can read it - please note that if you do link your blog anything in it may be read by others.
who can contact you?
Choose whether only members from the site through which you joined or profiles from ALL our sites (more details) can contact you + advanced options to restrict contacts - a more advanced feature which enables you to select which group of people can contact you (e.g. only members aged 25-35 yrs, only members interested in 'Relationship', only members with photos).
