| 3 things I could not live without | | | My nephews, my sanity and hugs oh, and food (that's four things!) |
| | | A bit about me... | | My main interest in life is nature and being outdoors. I love walking in the countryside or along the beach - it's just soooo relaxing.... There's nothing quite like grass or sand beneath your feet... I used to be fortunate enough to live in a beautiful area which combined countryside and the coast - I do miss it and would someday like to move back to a similar area.
My other big interest is music. I love going to concerts and festivals. I like most music, but especially Snow Patrol, Travis, Radiohead, Keane, Oasis, REM, Pink Floyd, The Eagles, Clannad, The Doors, Razorlite, The Feeling, Scouting For Girls, Supergrass, Led Zeppelin, Enya, Kate Bush, The Beatles, Green Day, The Byrds and lots more....
My other interests are dancing (I'm trained in several forms of dancing), travelling (in the UK and abroad), learning foreign languages, going to art galleries, museums and ballet. I'm an active member of the local group of a major environmental organisation. I'm starting an OU degree in Environmental Studies next year.
I would describe myself as usually smiling and happy, although I do have a serious side too. I enjoy a good laugh and would say I'm quite laid back, caring, sincere and easy to get along with. I'm generally quite unconventional and a bit of a hippy. I'm not religious and would describe myself as spiritual - I try to be a good person, have time for others and I believe in Karma. I also don't think that material wealth is necessary to be happy. I can sometimes be a bit quiet when I first meet others, but on subsequent meetings I can relax and be myself. I also don't like to make hurried decisions on who I do/don't like. I like to take my time. |
| | | For me the benefits of being vegan/vegetarian are... | | | | | Funniest/worst comment I regularly hear about being a veggie/vegan... | | | | | I am hoping to meet | | | The most important thing is that you are open and honest. I would also like to meet someone with similar interests and a similar outlook. I tend to get along well with musicians and other creative types. I'm very young in my attitude (I don't mean immature but I'm very enthusiastic, full of energy and forward looking!) and because of my young outlook I'm unlikely to be interested in meeting someone older than myself. Also, although living near to me can be easier, I really don't mind where you live - my ideal guy could be living anywhere and I don't mind travelling. It's far more important to meet the right person. |
| | | If I won the lottery I would... | | | Buy a farm then convert it in to an animal sanctuary |
| | | My favourite vegan / vegetarian meal is? | | | | | My guests (living or dead, actual people or fictional characters) to the ultimate dinner party would include... | | | Johnny Depp, Doris Day, John Lennon, The Dalai Lama, Orlando Bloom, Audrey Hepburn, Jonathan Porrit, Jim Morrison. |
