I want to work, run my rescue, but also grow veggies, build a wildlife pond, get my 2 small fields in to better shape for wildlife, put up bat boxes etc- rather be out than in. My house is derelict and I can't cook. I'd rather stay single than be with someone who can't fully accept my lifestyle, or I know that I don't make as happy as someone else could. For me the benefits of being vegan/vegetarian are... a slightly clearer conscience Funniest/worst comment I regularly hear about being a veggie/vegan...
