I'm an IT tech guy and also a part-time festival henna artist. I love music, particularly folk, rock and tribal music. Currently undergoing a career reorientation; studyng for a vocational qualification. I love to visit ancient monuments - particularly stone circles, and there are quite a few near(ish) to where I live. Currently happily sXe, but not bigoted about it! For me the benefits of being vegan/vegetarian are... Having a clear concience - and knowing that by my dietary choice, there's indirectly more food for those in starving nations. Funniest/worst comment I regularly hear about being a veggie/vegan... (When suffering from a kiddie bug) "You need some meat in you - have a nice steak" I am hoping to meet Like minded veggies/vegans - festival creatures, campaigners, people with conscience. I wouldn't want to try to define who you should be ("yourself" is best) but a bit of intrigue and even a little contrariness can go a long way! Vegans score extra points ;-) but as I like to say "Everyone's got their own level"... If I could be any animal for a day, I would be a... because... A vegetarian cat, because they're cool, they know it and they know how to chill! If I won the lottery I would... I do not enter the lottery. My favourite vegan / vegetarian meal is? Japanese Mushroom and Broccoli stir-fry with seaweed, garlic and noodles. My favourite vegan / vegetarian restaurant is? Veggie Perrin's, my friend's vegetarian Indian restaurant in Plymouth. Pity I live 300 miles away :-( My guests (living or dead, actual people or fictional characters) to the ultimate dinner party would include...
