A bit about me... a hopeless romantic in search of love in space (inspired by hawkwind there!), unconventional man in touch with his feminine side & developing spiritually. heavily in to music, gigs, festivals & bike rallies (proud owner of a Honda VT Shadow 600), an artist, a poet, interior designer, wildlife gardener, For me the benefits of being vegan/vegetarian are... knowing that I'm not eating something that I am not prepared to take the life of. knowing that I'm living more sustainably on the planet, if we all ate meat we would need 3 planets to feed us all! I'm not a calf so I don't need to drink milk. Also I feel healthy, haven't had a day off sick since I went veggie in 1987, have low cholesterol and normal levels of the following: blood cell count, vitamin C, stored and blood iron levels. Funniest/worst comment I regularly hear about being a veggie/vegan... do you eat fish?! since when has a fish not been as much an animal as a lamb, cow, pit etc? I am hoping to meet Someone who loves me as much as I love them :o) If I could be any animal for a day, I would be a... because... eagle or dolphin to soar the skies and get a birds eye view or swim as a dolphin under the waves in oceans of blue. If I won the lottery I would... pay off the mortgages & debts of my family & myself, invest some wisely, blow abit stupidly but think seriously about what a partner & myself would need to be happy! My favourite vegan / vegetarian meal is? cooked for a friend, organically grown ingredients where possible, with fresh home-grown herbs picked from my own garden My favourite vegan / vegetarian restaurant is? any taverna in Greece with friends, family and/or lover My guests (living or dead, actual people or fictional characters) to the ultimate dinner party would include... My ideal date would be (e.g. candlelit dinner) A long walk followed by soak in the bath, a meal sitting outside watching the sunset and drinking wine, going onto a gig or the cinema before back to a deserted cottage to spend the rest of the night, in or out, clothed or naked, massage oil (olive or coconut?), doing what we wanted til we watch the sun rise. My ideal vacation would be Greek Island hopping!, but most of all getting to know the UK better cos we take it for granted & it really is one of the most beautiful and diverse places in the world!
