| 3 things I could not live without | | | Being able to see the sea; being able to walk in woodlands; being able to walk across open moorland. |
| | | A bit about me... | | I'm really not sure what to write but here goes.....
In my spare time I enjoy cycling and walking.
I love coastal walks particularly along the northern westcountry coast, watching the waves crash in to the rocks & cliffs; or walks in woodlands, enjoying nature and being outdoors, seeing the light streaming through the trees or in winter watching big fluffy snow flakes drifting through the trees; and I love walking up on the moors, hunting out ancient stone circles, stone rows, standing stones, etc.
For bike rides, I enjoy cycling around the country lanes, or up onto the moorland roads (as long as the hills aren't too bad!), or maybe going down a traffic free cycle path following an estury.
Besides the cycling & walking, I'm currently doing a Postgraduate distance learning course in social housing studies, so that keeps me busy.
What else can I say? Hmm. I have no idea! I share my life with two cats. I'm a dietry vegan for ethical reasons. Without wanting to make myself sound too borring I enjoy the ballet (watching - I can't dance to save myself!).
I'm sure there is more I can say, but I can't think of it now and I've probably waffled on way to long so I think I'll shut up now! But hey, if this description hasn't put you off, drop me an e-mail and I'll tell you more! I promise to reply to all and any e-mails I receive. |
| | | For me the benefits of being vegan/vegetarian are... | | | It means I am true to my ethical beliefs. |
| | | Funniest/worst comment I regularly hear about being a veggie/vegan... | | | "A vegan? Thats a vegetarian who takes things too far!" |
| | | I am hoping to meet | | | Someone who is nice, who likes animals and who enjoys walks. |
| | | If I won the lottery I would... | | | Buy a lot of land, plant loads of trees and create a fantastic woodland nature reserve. |
| | | My favourite vegan / vegetarian meal is? | | | A vegetable pasty, whilst sitting on a rock, on the north Cornish coastline, looking out to sea, watching the waves crash over the rocks. |
| | | My favourite vegan / vegetarian restaurant is? | | | Herbies in Exeter, Devon. I know thats a boring answer, but they really do some excellent food. Especially their 'Vegan Heaven': The name says it all! |
| | | My guests (living or dead, actual people or fictional characters) to the ultimate dinner party would include... | | | | | My ideal vacation would be | | | Everywhere has its attractions, but I do love hills and mountains. I love exploring and travelling. |
