A bit about me... Hello to you! My name is Brent and i'm a 21 year old Artist/Layabout, currently living in Bristol, UK. I'm a very spiritual person and adore nature and our wonderful Animal friends. My dream is to one day join an eco-community and live wild 'n' free :D I'm an eccentric person and most find me to be rather "weird" (I prefer the term unique ;>_>) For me the benefits of being vegan/vegetarian are... Not having to eat our Animal brothers and sisters anymore! Don't get me wrong, I liked the taste of meat, but I was faced with a choice of eating it and feeling remorse for our animal friends, whom I love so dearly, or doing the right thing and giving it up. It was a simple decision to make and i'm happier than ever for it! I plan to become vegan when I move out of the family home, but at the moment, it's hard enough for my dear Mum to cook meals for me as it is! (I help out when I can, of course ^-^) Funniest/worst comment I regularly hear about being a veggie/vegan... Heh, one guy I used to work with once commented "Wow... So you don't eat ANY animals? That sucks... But you can still eat fish, right?" I shook my head and proceeded to explain that fish were also animals. He thought for a minute, then replied "Hmm... So could you eat a crocodile? They're reptiles, aren't they?" Well at this point, I was banging my head on the table, haha! I am hoping to meet Erm... Anyone! It'd be great to have some new likeminded friends to chat with :3 Chat about what, you say? Vegetables, of course! Haha, seriously though, I enjoy meeting likeminded people. So feel free to send a message! And hey, if destiny has drawn me here to meet the future Mrs. Wyld, then all the better, hehe! If I could be any animal for a day, I would be a... because... Well, my favourite animals are Wolves. Wonderful creatures, they are! But if I were to become one, i'd probably end up gnawing on a deer ;<_> Don't get me wrong, theres nothing wrong with a wolf hunting for it's food, but i'd feel kinda guilty afterwards hehe! I guess I could live off of plants and berries, but methinks i'd be a rather scrawny pup :3 If I won the lottery I would... Give most all of it to charity and family, then buy a piece of forest land with the leftovers and build my own fully sustainable house within it. It's my life dream to one day live completely eco-friendly. I'd grow my own crops and spend my time playing music, drawing and enjoying the great outdoors! Ahh, bliss :D Maybe create a tribe of forest dwellers, each adorned with face-paints and wild outfits. That'd be cool, heh! My favourite vegan / vegetarian meal is? Hmm... I'm really not fussy. Put food in front of me and i'll scoff it down. Seriously! My favourite vegan / vegetarian restaurant is? The Blue Note cafe in Glastonbury. They do an awesome pineapple'n'cheese burger! My guests (living or dead, actual people or fictional characters) to the ultimate dinner party would include... V (From V For Vendetta), Christopher Mccandless (RIP), Steve Irwin (RIP), Ricky Gervais (For comedic value!), Selene from Underworld (...Just because XD) and anyone else who wanted to come I suppose! My ideal date would be (e.g. candlelit dinner) A picnic in a beautiful unspoilt woodland. There's nowhere more romantic than being lost deep in a forest, if you ask me. We would spend the day dancing amongst the trees and revelling in nature. As the day slowly drew to a close, we would watch the sun set behind the horizon and await the coming night. As night descended, we would lie on the grass and stargaze, searching for shooting stars to wish upon, and talk for hours. As dawn approached, we would watch the sun rise over the hills, holding each other and listening to the early morning birdsong as the new day begins... My ideal vacation would be Well, I've always wanted to go to South America and explore the ancient Mesoamerican Ruins. Oh! And I wanna go to Alaska and see the Aurora Borealis too!
