VIEW PROFILE VIEW JOURNAL VIEW COMMENTS VIEW VIDEO 3 things I could not live without Wildlife, the countryside, the sea, music, friends and family. A bit about me... I got involved with animal rights and became vegan at 16, born and raised in the midlands worked as an R.N.M.H in Birmingham before geting a job in and moving to North Wales 20 years ago. My favourite things are walking on the beaches and hills, wildlife watching, my dog, music and especialy live music, boating, live theatre, friends and family, beer gardens in the summer, cosy pubs and real fires in the winter. For me the benefits of being vegan/vegetarian are... Not sure what the benefits are only that its the only choice if you think causing unnecesary suffering on a vast scale is wrong, therefore a slightly clearer conscience i suppose. Funniest/worst comment I regularly hear about being a veggie/vegan... There would be no cattle if we didn't eat them therefore doing them a favour!!!! God says we can as they have no souls! If we didn't eat them they would overrun the country!! Meat eaters who say they wouldn't eat rabbit or other "cute" animals looking for aproval. I am hoping to meet Idealy i would meet someone special we would both fall madly in love with each other and live happily ever after! However i know this might be setting my sights a bit high but would love to meet more people who view the world in a similar way and share interests. If I could be any animal for a day, I would be a... because... Thats a difficult one maybe an eagle as flying would be cool or a whale so i could explore the oceans. If I won the lottery I would... Have a sit down and do a bit of shaking! Pay the mortgage off, buy land for either wildlife sanctuaries and/or vegan farming, go to more music festivals, "retire" my close friends and family and buy a Trike! My favourite vegan / vegetarian meal is? Nut loaf with roast everything! My guests (living or dead, actual people or fictional characters) to the ultimate dinner party would include... Muhammid Ali, Ben Elton, Stephen Fry, Nelson Mandela, Billy Connely, Tony Benn, Sandra Bullock and Winona Ryder for there witty conservation! My ideal date would be (e.g. candlelit dinner) This is crazy as i guess i wouldn't care where i was if i was with my ideal date, but how about a long walk on the beach and hills followed up by a live music festival and finish the day watching the sunset on an estuary with the sea birds coming in to roost. My ideal vacation would be I was lucky enough to spend a week helping to study Orcas off the west coast of america, i love where i live now, but wow the scenery there was awsome so i can't think of anywhere better but it would have to include the sea and wildlife.
