| 3 things I could not live without | | | | | A bit about me... | | Originally from the southern US, I earned my bachelor's degrees in history and American studies in Florida, & have now lived in the UK for two years all together. Last autumn I completed an MA in Social Change from a uni in London & moved to Brighton at the end of November 2007. Currently I'm doing admin at a large university & am enjoying life in Brighton, but I plan to find my way back to a more creative & meaningful career path at some point in the near future.
My sense of humor, which some have described as witty and irreverent, seems to entertain people quite often. I love cooking & browsing through farmers' markets & health food stores. I enjoy long walks, quiet & rugged places, traveling, conversation, music (particularly classical, folk, 80s, & bluegrass), coffee shops, reading, singing, & writing. Other interests include animism, paganism, tarot, politics (Green Party member with socialist tendencies), radio, social action, gender equality, glbt rights, volunteerism, & having a good laugh whenever possible! :) |
| | | For me the benefits of being vegan/vegetarian are... | | | feeling healthier physically, psychologically, emotionally, and morally. |
| | | Funniest/worst comment I regularly hear about being a veggie/vegan... | | | "I mean, don't the cows NEED to be milked?!" |
| | | I am hoping to meet | | you ;)
But a bit more specifically, someone who has a great sense of humor, is expressive, communicative, patient, insightful, considerate, educated, creative, & loves giving and receiving random hugs. :)
I'm interested in meeting people nearby as well as starting up email correspondence with people from all points across the globe.
Thanks for checking out my profile! |

| | | My ideal date would be (e.g. candlelit dinner) | | | making a meal together at home interspersed with hilarious conversation and serious heart to hearts. ;) |
| | | My ideal vacation would be | | | to holiday in the middle of nowhere. |
