| 3 things I could not live without | | | Chocolate, fresh air and water! |
| | | A bit about me... | | | Full of beans, lots of fun/bubbly (don't act my age!) yet has a calm inner nature (I meditate regularly), a deep thinker, bright, independent. I like to have quiet time alone but also enjoy the company of interesting people from all walks of life. I'm a graphic designer (packaging)...and despite using a computer every day I'm not at all techy - they think I'm slightly potty at work but then they are very tolerant and I can have some very odd 'blonde' moments. Spare-time activities include painting (from meditation), writing, and voluntary service to people who need help, also a rather good Salsa dancer. I love to go to new places and thoroughly enjoy walking. I live in a very small cottage with 2 cats in a village in Northamptonshire and adore the surrounding countryside. |
| | | For me the benefits of being vegan/vegetarian are... | | | I am healthier and I am not inflicting pain on the animals I love so much |
| | | Funniest/worst comment I regularly hear about being a veggie/vegan... | | "Why can't you be normal like the rest of us"
"What do you eat?" |
| | | I am hoping to meet | | | a smiley someone who is lots of fun (very important) with a dry sense of humour, bright, intelligent - an enquiring mind, kind, generous and honest. Outdoors type with an adventurous spirit is very attractive. Easy going, flexible as well as sociable. Someone who is interested in helping others would be a bonus. I'm hoping we would have a great adventure together. |
| | | If I could be any animal for a day, I would be a... because... | | | A swan - for their grace and beauty yet they are such powerful creatures. They look after their young so well and mate for life. |
| | | If I won the lottery I would... | | | It would be a huge surprise as I never buy a ticket! But if someone wants me to have a lot of money I would have a long holiday, give to my family and friends and donate loads to building water wells in the third world. |
| | | My favourite vegan / vegetarian meal is? | | | | | My favourite vegan / vegetarian restaurant is? | | | Like to explore rather than go to the same place all of the time. |
| | | My guests (living or dead, actual people or fictional characters) to the ultimate dinner party would include... | | | Krishna, Dalai Llama, Ghandi, My Sister Martine, friend Ali, Dr Michael Newton, Winnie The Pooh, Indiana Jones, Cameron Diaz, William Blake, Richard Attenborough |
| | | My ideal date would be (e.g. candlelit dinner) | | | A walk along a warm beach at sunset in an exotic country |
| | | My ideal vacation would be | | | Travel around the world - particular stops in India and Vietnam...and doing a bit of voluntary service along the way! |
