I've been living in Aberdeen for 10 years. Work in the oil industry brought me up here. I am originally from north west england but since my dad was in the army I have lived in many places and Aberdeen is now the longest place I have stayed put. For me the benefits of being vegan/vegetarian are... to reduce animal suffering. Funniest/worst comment I regularly hear about being a veggie/vegan... that's why your so thin - I've always been thin! Carrots feel pain too! I am hoping to meet like minded people close to home but looking at the amount of folk from north east scotland on here it's not going to many :) My ideal vacation would be probably be snowboarding somewhere as I spent a week in France boarding for the first time and since I came back with the biggest brusies I would benefit from the practice :)
