Additional Information

3 things I could not live without:
For metal stimulation, its got to be books, Internet (Red Ice Radio / CMN) and people.
A bit about me...:
I am luckily enough to come from a family of vegetarians, which makes life easy and very supportive. As a child, I enjoyed a slightly alternative upbringing in Devon but have been working in London for past decade. Eventually hoping to move back to the West Country and start my own business - doing what I don't know yet!
For me the benefits of being vegan/vegetarian are...:
So many benefits & reasons but guilt free living is my principal motivation. Been veggie for 20+ years but increasingly I am being drawn to the raw food approach.
Funniest/worst comment I regularly hear about being a veggie/vegan...:
Been many over the years but generally ignore these days (since when where fish and chicken not sentient living creatures?)
I am hoping to meet...:
Someone who loves life and looks beyond the ordinary in all aspects - from spirtual understandings to thinking outside the cliched box! A traveller from Avalon...
If I could be any animal for a day, I would be a... because...:
Think big - wouldn't it be great to be Mother Earth for a day - now that would change your outlook on life...
If I won the lottery I would...:
Change the direction of my life and that of my family - I would shift my focus to the voluntary sector to help others and environmental causes. Always fancied starting a charity dedicated to trees and the crucial ecosystems that they support. Hopefully one day!
My favourite vegan / vegetarian meal is?:
I love food - especially simple Italian dishes.
My favourite vegan / vegetarian restaurant is?:
Strada - I know it's not vegetarian but it's the best chain going! Always make the effort to support the local non-meat establishments when exploring (some great ones in Totnes).
My guests (living or dead, actual people or fictional characters) to the ultimate dinner party would include...:
A good cook!
My ideal date would be (e.g. candlelit dinner):
Somewhere romantic and intimate that served great food / wine & where we could really enjoy each other's company. Or perhaps an evening picnic on beach watching the summer sun setting beyond the horizon.
My ideal vacation would be:
Travelling - always great to go to new places and experience different cultures! Have now been to 35+ countries but sadly most stays are too short. Now concentrating on visiting sacred / revered sites (just come back from Table Mountain and Adam's Calendar in S Africa). Would love to go to Andes and Himalayas. But always good to come home though!
