Additional Information

3 things I could not live without:
Love, family, friendship
A bit about me...:
I have been virtually vegan for 5 years now. I do love sweet things especially chocolate and ice-cream and try to have vegan and raw, but sometimes I get tempted. I have been vegetarian for 15 years and am generally healthy, and have been very rarely ill in over a decade. I love children and even if a man has not got children I would hope that he has patience for whenever they come into our lives. I am a serious person who likes to discuss a range of subjects but I also love having a good laugh.
For me the benefits of being vegan/vegetarian are...:
not killing animals, not adding to the destruction of tropical rain forests for grazing, feeling healthier.
Funniest/worst comment I regularly hear about being a veggie/vegan...:
theres nothing left for you to eat
I am hoping to meet...:
a kind sincere man of around a similar age who is looking for a long term committed relationship; who is open to discussing a range of subjects and spirituality and is keen to travel; someone who is in touch with their feelings and is good at communicating. Honesty and loyalty and commitment are key ingredients I am looking for and someone who is optimistic generally in life and who isn't cynical generally and still believes in romance and even marriage.
If I could be any animal for a day, I would be a... because...:
a bird so that I could fly freely over the world and bring messages back to let everyone know how things are for other people in the world.
If I won the lottery I would...:
sort out my own finances, my children's put a little into savings and then give the rest to charity.
My favourite vegan / vegetarian meal is?:
some home made carrot and coriander soup; a nice salad with avocado, pea-shoots, cucumber, tomatoes, beetroot, rocket and a delicious dressing with houmous and gluten free bread.followed by vegan ice-cream and vegan chocolate fudge cake.
My favourite vegan / vegetarian restaurant is?:
not sure - haven't been to many.
My guests (living or dead, actual people or fictional characters) to the ultimate dinner party would include...:
Jesus, Buddha, Dali Lama, Martin Luther King, Ghandi, Tagore, and many close family members and friends both past and present.
My ideal date would be (e.g. candlelit dinner):
A candlelit dinner would be nice but the place and venue are not so important - it is the thought that is behind it that is important.
My ideal vacation would be:
a world trip with no rush to return…I would love to see more of Italy and India and many countries in South America-the important thing would be that we have similar goals in what we want to do even if that is as simple as just sight seeing or relaxing.
