Additional Information

3 things I could not live without:
Stilleto heels, perfume, nail varnish, Tia Maria.
A bit about me...:
A vegan belly dancer who's into astronomy and 18th and 19th century novels.
For me the benefits of being vegan/vegetarian are...:
Apart from my health, I feel the double pleasure of the taste of the food and of knowing no creature has knowingly been harmed in its creation. Also I get to suck copious quantities of Alpro Chocolate soya drink.
Funniest/worst comment I regularly hear about being a veggie/vegan...:
Heard them all before, about 50 gazillion times - so boring after the 40 gazillionth!
I am hoping to meet...:
A man who will treat me with respect and who I can have fun times with.
If I could be any animal for a day, I would be a... because...:
A sleek black cat, because dancing makes my movements very sinuous anyway, and the idea of having people stroke me and of being able to sleep for 14 hours a day is very appealing.
If I won the lottery I would...:
Buy a detached house with triple glazing to have peace and tranquility. I'd go back to Egypt for a month or 6. And after buying houses, cars etc for the family, I'd set up a marketing company to campaign for the rights of humans and other animals and to allocate donations to charity projects.
My favourite vegan / vegetarian meal is?:
Italian Risotto followed by hot chocolate fudge cake and ice cream. Served with champagne and to be followed by an irish coffee.
My favourite vegan / vegetarian restaurant is?:
None at the moment. My fave closed and I've not had the money to find another yet. It's gonna be fun finding it when I do have the cash :)
My guests (living or dead, actual people or fictional characters) to the ultimate dinner party would include...:
Nelson Mandela, Brian Cox, Rhod Gilbert, Sarah Millican, Bill Bailey.
My ideal date would be (e.g. candlelit dinner):
Aboard a cruise ship docked at Luxor in Egypt, with an Egyptian vegan meal, champagne and the two dozen red roses my handsome and charming date had thoughtfully had delivered to our table. This would be followed by a sound and light show at Luxor Temple, a few hours of passion in our luxurious bed, and a balloon ride to Abu Simbel at dawn the following day.
My ideal vacation would be:
A few days in Luxor visiting the Valley of the Kings, Luxor Temple and the museum followed by a leisurely cruise down the Nile, stopping at various temples on the way. A balloon or boat trip to Abu Simbel. Then a few days in Cairo visiting the museum and the pyramids (not forgetting, of course, the sphinx). And of course, a day or 2 at the markets buying more belly dance gear.
