Additional Information

3 things I could not live without:
Food, water, Netflix.
A bit about me...:
So I think I'm quite a creative person, I enjoy drawing, playing music, writing, cooking (of course), I enjoy exercising and staying in shape... Well, trying to stay in shape anyway (if pretzels weren't vegan it'd be so much easier). I do a lot of travelling, I love to meet new people and experience new places. I'm quite a calm person, I don't like a lot of drama or stress, I think people should discuss things and have an open mind to resolve their problems instead of shouting at one another. I like to go out sometimes with friends or to gigs, but I'm also quite an introvert at times, enjoying films and staying in listening to music or spending time with my family. I have an old second hand projector and a cheap screen pinned to a board which I'm glued to when I have the time, and I like to read and sit in the sun... When there is any available, that is. I also consider myself to be liberal, I'm passionate about change and think that outdated right wing, conservative attitudes make a misery for all people in the end. I think it'd be better to move into the future with a loving, inclusive, and positive approach to the world.
For me the benefits of being vegan/vegetarian are...:
Well, there are obvious health benefits, I think that's been shown time and time again by countless different studies and more supportive evidence is being published all the time, but beyond that I think the massive way in which we can reduce the suffering of other living things has to be the main reason for people to go vegan. Any step towards a less cruel lifestyle is positive, not only for the animals we can save, but also for the environment which we all have to share with one another.
Funniest/worst comment I regularly hear about being a veggie/vegan...:
"Why do lions eat animals then?"
"Cavemen ate meat."
"I need more variety in my diet."
"Veganism is bad for your health."
"It's too expensive not to eat meat."
"But you eat fish, yeah?"
"I love bacon too much to be vegan."
Anything relating to protein.
I am hoping to meet...:
Well, another vegetarian or vegan, clearly. I appreciate that people aren't going to agree on everything, but when you watch someone you otherwise care about jamming pieces of dead animal into their mouths on a regular basis, I find it tends to have a less than beneficial impact on the relationship. Veganism is about love and compassion, and I want to meet someone who is loving and compassionate towards all life, not simply those which are convenient to be loving towards like cute puppies or majestic tigers.

Beyond that I think being open and honest is important, attentive, people should care for each other always, and this is especially true in relationships. It's about sharing your life with someone, laughing with each other, sometimes crying with each other, it means both people need to feel loved, desired and secure. I have a lot in my life, a lot of hobbies and a lot of goals, but still hope that I can meet someone one day to share it all with. I always like to make new friends, I'm not only on this site to meet a 'magical person' who will complete my life, but if someone is out there, I reason that this can't be doing any harm.
If I could be any animal for a day, I would be a... because...:
Fruit bat... For obvious reasons.
If I won the lottery I would...:
Have lots of money.
My favourite vegan / vegetarian meal is?:
Psssshhhh... I have no idea. Noodles, rice with pretty much anything, wheat gluten, sushi rolls, curries, like mushroom curry with peas and onion and rice, sun dried tomatoes with olives and pasta... Ahhh... Well, this is proving to be a long list and I didn't even mention falafel yet.

To conclude, if it's vegan, I'll probably like it.
My favourite vegan / vegetarian restaurant is?:
Mmm, probably Zen 109, or... 108..? Ah, Zen something in Budapest, anyway, whatever it's actually called. Or in the UK... Possibly Roll for the Soul in Bristol, or Phoenix Cafe, or Eat a Pitta... Yeah, I'm not sure.
My guests (living or dead, actual people or fictional characters) to the ultimate dinner party would include...:
For living people it'd have to be Alejandro Jodorowsky, Henry Rollins, John Joseph (from Cro-Mags, not the rugby player, I mean he could come I guess but I don't know if he'd enjoy it), my mate Amer (cool guy), I'd be tempted to invite the Dalai Lama to address his contradictions in teaching compassion for animals but refusing to stop eating meat (otherwise I'm sure he's a sound guy), Vegan Gains (he seems way more chilled out these days), Jon Venus, he's gotta' be there, and as for dead people? Well, it'd be cool to see what Bruce Lee would think of all this, absolutely Jim Morris wold have to be there (the vegan bodybuilder, not the baseball player... I think he's still alive), Arthur C. Clark, Siddhārtha Gautama, mmm, and fictional? Well, Ng Mui (wow, the first female on the list... Maybe this is why I'm single), maybe she was based on fact but yeah, who knows, and also I'd have to invite Captain Jean-Luc Picard, Frabato the Magician and Gandalf the White.
My ideal date would be (e.g. candlelit dinner):
Yeah, not a candlelit dinner, more something casual like meeting in a park or going for a walk somewhere on a beach or in the woods, getting to sit down and relax, eat nice food (preferably with hummus and black olive bread sticks to hand), or maybe play pool or something like that. Getting to talk and get to know one another is the most important thing.
My ideal vacation would be:
Mmm... I don't know, I'd love to visit so many more places... I'd prefer somewhere warm and sunny, seeing as England is... Not... And somewhere with amazing scenery. Maybe Cambodia or Vietnam.
