Additional Information

3 things I could not live without:
Friends, family, oats.
A bit about me...:
Been vegetarian most of my life, and trying to be vegan but finding it tough. It's important to me, though, hence being on this site rather than somewhere more mainstream. I love music and books, and don't overly worry about my diet, but I suspect it's one of the reasons why I'm single - people make assumptions about vegans...and not good ones! Oh pants - I've just realised that on paper I'm quite boring. I'm hilarious in real life, though, honest! Especially after a few glasses of red wine, hiccup!
For me the benefits of being vegan/vegetarian are...:
Better for me, better for all my fellow earthlings, better for the planet that we share.
Funniest/worst comment I regularly hear about being a veggie/vegan...:
But carrots feel pain too...
Don't you miss bacon? (that would be a yes, btw, but so what?)
I am hoping to meet...:
New pals, like-minded folk, people who get it.
If I could be any animal for a day, I would be a... because...:
A cat, obviously (of the domestic, worshipped variety). They have life nailed.
If I won the lottery I would...:
...be very surprised, as I've never bought a ticket (copyright: someone else - I'm not witty enough to think up this answer on my own, begads.)
My favourite vegan / vegetarian meal is?:
I love all food. There seriously is nothing I don't enjoy. You can't beat a really good veggie burger with sweet potato fries, though. Or Thai. Or Indian. Oh, just yum!
My favourite vegan / vegetarian restaurant is?:
Stereo in Glasgow (more for the vegan booze than the food, though, if I'm being honest). The Little Potting Shed in Oban - a wee hidden gem of a place.
My guests (living or dead, actual people or fictional characters) to the ultimate dinner party would include...:
Morrissey - dodgy political views oft-times, but top vegan, and he'd ensure it wouldn't be a dull night.
Woodie Guthrie - the original and best
My dad - sadly passed away now, and a rampant meat-eater, but very badly missed
Maybe you?
My ideal date would be (e.g. candlelit dinner):
A day/evening outdoors - hillwalking, a bonfire, some red wine and a bit of nice food
Closely followed by a visit to Stereo in Glasgow for vegan food, booze and a gig.
My ideal vacation would be:
A music festival, or a Scottish island.
